This is a design/build project that will require several phases of construction. The building will remain occupied during construction which presents a challenge in the design and construction around the building occupants. The emphasis will be on the personnel’s comfort and life safety during construction. This 120,000 square foot administrative building will have new wall layouts with open office as well as modular glass walls which will enhance daylight harvesting. The building will have new architectural finishes as well as a new sprinkler system, mechanical systems, lighting packages, furniture and audio visual packages to bring this World War II vintage building up to date and more functional.
Z-140 demonstrates our Design team’s capability of performing of on large projects with a very high level of coordination. Z-140 is home of the FEAD construction office and several customer , as a result, this project is highly visible and CDSI continues to excel by involving all usurers with effective planning and communication.
We consider this project relevant and address CDSI/TranSytems design-build capabilities, coordination and communication. Z-140 also includes ADA compliance, energy saving measures, and comprehensive interior design package.
